Meet Scott Steele: A Seasoned Leader with Over 20 Years in the Music Industry

Scott Steele is no stranger to the music world. With more than two decades of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge that spans nearly every corner of the industry.

An experienced Music Executive with 20 years of music industry experience including working for SONY Music Canada, Glassnote Records and for radio stations across Canada.

Scott's Impressive Career Journey

SONY Music Canada

At SONY Music Canada, Scott represented the label in central and northern Alberta and Manitoba promoting artists like Camila Cabello, Loud Luxury and Luke Combs.

Glassnote Records

As the Canadian Label Manager for Glassnote Records, Scott was the day-to-day Canadian lead for all Glassnote Canada artists including Mumford & Sons, Jade Bird and CHVRCHES.

Play MPE

Most recently Scott has worked at Play MPE, where he worked closely with labels and artists across the country to curate optimal paths for music promotion distribution in Canada, and around the world.

Anthem Records

During his time at Anthem Records, Scott was the lead of Music Distribution. Scott worked directly with all levels of the music distribution process from label partners and distribution companies to metadata collection and management.

Scott's Role at Boost Collective

Scott has recently joined us at Boost Collective as our Head of Fulfillment where he leads a playlisting network that is focused on delivering successful organic streams for artists of all levels.

Scott has a demonstrated history of success in artist development, business operations, music marketing strategies, artist relations and PR. Scott's extensive understanding of the Canadian music industry landscape has also led him to being invited to speak at conferences to share his knowledge of the industry.
